  • One Table Together is about bringing a sense of community to every meal. Whether on a retreat, at a day event or small gathering, we aim to deliver an experience that is comforting, open and feels like coming home. The food is what brings us to the table, the company is what keeps us there.

  • Our aim is to make your life as easy as possible, so all of your focus can be on your guests. All you need to do is bring people to the table, and we’ll take care of the rest. We will work with you to structure a menu that works best for your offering, timing meals and snacks to suit your schedule. We operate an open kitchen approach where anyone is welcome to drift in and out for a chat or a taste of what’s cooking.

    Our menus are predominantly plant based, although you are very welcome to request any additional inclusions. Using seasonal ingredients and working to be as sustainable as possible, sourcing locally where we can, our food is vibrant and varied with each meal offering something new and exciting from a broad range of cuisines and styles.

    All dietary requirements and allergies are catered for, with no separation on the menu. We firmly believe that everyone eating the same food is the fastest way to bring people together, so our menu will be fully inclusive of you and your guests needs.

    We work with a minimal team, lead by Jeni and usually one assistant, to keep the impact on your space low. We like to remove some of the formality that can come with being served, so dishes laden with delights are layed out on the table so guests can serve themselves and each other, always in community.

  • The One Table Together experience starts from the first moment of contact, we welcome you into our family with open arms and are available every step of the way to make sure what we create together is as effortless as possible.

Coming together around one table

Jeni

Self taught, Jeni began cooking at a young age through an interest in trying different flavours and experimenting with techniques in the kitchen. This progressed to hosting dinner parties for friends, where her passion for bringing people together with food started.

Having trained as a yoga teacher in 2019, with the aim of running retreats, these two passions came together and One Table Together began to take shape. Teaching yoga with a focus on community, sharing space and cultivating love started to blend with the idea of creating a table setting that felt like sitting with family. Now Jeni is passionately serving food to groups all over the UK and Europe.

Cooking from the heart, going with feeling rather than any kind of recipe plan, Jeni’s food is vibrant, packed full of flavour and always offers something new and exciting. However, the ingredients and recipes remain simple enough that you can easily recreate it at home! We now offer recipe packs to guests, including the opportunity to subscribe for all recipes cooked across a year of retreats.

For my first retreat in Cornwall, I specified vegan food; Jeni went the extra mile and asked for, and took into consideration other dietary requirements & allergies, as well as asking if the group had anything in particular they didn't like. The food was colourful & well presented, seasonal, healthy, and most importantly, delicious. There was plenty of it too, which was really important on a yoga retreat when everyone was practicing multiple times per day, with second helpings for those who wanted them. Each day was different, with leftovers from the day before often given as an extra choice.
